** Includes testing for all undergraduates returning to the Durham area for the fall semester (from August 2-16); and of all graduate and professional students returning to the Durham area (from August 17-30).

+ Precautionary Quarantine includes individuals who have been identified through contact tracing or who have voluntarily reported they are quarantining due to symptoms, possible exposure, travel or family circumstances.

Does not include testing of student athletes who returned to campus in July 2020, before the survey testing program was launched. Duke previously reported that 26 student-athletes tested positive for COVID-19. All went through the required isolation and were cleared to return to their daily activities.
